Fundraising with MicWire & Friends

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who drove the success of our sell out event Songs of the Sea on Saturday 23rd March. A superb audience joined us at Overwater Marina to watch MicWire and friends take to the floor, raising £333.33 for charity. Thank you to our incredible supporters in the crowd, all of the cafe crew for the feast and flowing wine and to every singer for your generosity and time, helping us raise money for the RNLI in the bi-centenary year.

From sobering and meaningful tales of the sea, to upbeat jolly shanties, dance moves, audience participation and thoughtfully chosen solos, your contributions have made a significant impact and will go a long way in making a difference. Your collective kindness and willingness to give back to the community means that we can continue to create positive change and spread hope to those who need it most. Thank you, as always, for being a part of this meaningful cause.

MicWire is an exuberant and uplifting choir for all singers, all ages and all levels. We are based in Weston, near Crewe and sing a variety of Soul, Rock and Pop alongside other enjoyable repertoire. Singers of all abilities are welcome to join us. Rehearsals are held at The White Lion, Weston on Wednesday’s from 7:30pm-9pm. £5 on the door.
